Hair Dryer nanocare EH-NB70 Four diverse modes and uses

Four modes and uses

1. Hot/Cold Alternating Mode

A mode that automatically alternates between hot and cold air.
The hot air warms and straightens the hair, while the cold air sets the style, helping keep it straight.
By smoothing out frizz and aligning the hair surface, light reflects off the hair, leaving it with a glossy finish.

Using Hot/Cold Alternating Mode increases hair shine by 20% compared to not using the mode.

How to use Hot/Cold Alternating Mode

  • 1. After drying your hair about 90% with hot air, select HOT/COLD (Arrows) with the air temperature button.

  • 2. Divide your hair into roughly four sections and direct the airflow through each section while running your fingers through the hair from underneath. As a guide, alternate between hot and cold air 2–3 times per section.

  • 3. Finish by directing hot and cold air from the crown of your head toward the ends of your hair.

2. Intensive Hair Tip Care Mode

A mode ideal for perfecting the ends of your hair.
Hot and cold air alternate at optimal intervals and airflow levels. The low airflow helps keep the ends of the hair in place, making it easy to direct the air and provide targeted care.

How to use Intensive Hair Tip Care Mode

  • 1. After drying your hair about 90% with hot air, select LOW with the airflow button and HOT/COLD (Arrows) with the air temperature button.

  • 2. Hold the dryer about 5 cm away from your hair. Gather your hair with your fingers and direct the airflow from both the inner and outer sides, all the way to the ends.

  • 3. Dry one side at a time to ensure the alternating hot and cold air reaches your hair effectively.

3. Scalp Mode

A mode that provides a comfortable drying experience with air temperature at approximately 60°C*1, a temperature that is gentle on the scalp.
Moisture left on the scalp can cause stickiness and other kinds of discomfort. Recommended for thoroughly drying your scalp.

・Effects vary depending on usage environment (season, temperature/humidity, etc.) and the individual

How to use Scalp Mode

  • 1. After drying your hair about 70%, select SCALP with the air temperature button.

  • 2. Hold the dryer about 5 cm away from your hair. Gather your hair with your fingers and direct the airflow from both the inner and outer sides, all the way to the ends.

・If you feel cold due to the surrounding air temperature, use the HOT setting and aim the airflow at your head while keeping the hair dryer away from your scalp.

4. Skin Mode

A mode that delivers moisturising care to the skin with airflow containing nanoe MOISTURE+ & minerals*2 & negative ions.
Aiming at the face for about one minute locks in skin hydration.
Recommended for use on skin after a bath, which tends to dry out easily.

How to use Skin Mode

  • 1. After completely drying your hair, change to Skin Mode by selecting SKIN with the air temperature button.

  • 2. Hold the air outlet about 20 cm away from the tip of your chin, close your eyes, and direct the airflow over your entire face for about one minute while moving the hair dryer from side to side.

・Keep your eyes closed while using this method.
・Apply skincare products such as lotion and emulsion as you normally would, using your usual method and timing. (Use Skin Mode either before or after applying skincare products, or at any other time you prefer.)
・If you select SKIN while the airflow is set to HIGH or MEDIUM, the airflow will switch to LOW. Press the air temperature button to return to the original airflow.
・If you press the airflow button while using Skin Mode, the airflow light will flash twice and changes to the airflow cannot be made.

Basic drying method

Preparation

Remove excess moisture with a towel, for example, and untangle your hair by brushing or finger-combing.

Three steps to beautifully dry your hair

STEP1 Start drying your hair from the roots

  • When drying the inner and back sections of your hair, keep it at least 10 cm away from the air intake to prevent your hair from being drawn in.

  • If the air temperature feels too cool, select MEDIUM airflow or use the Styling Nozzle.

  • Prevent tangling by directing the airflow from top to bottom, following the direction of your hair, without moving the dryer from side to side.

STEP2 Creating shiny hair with the Hot/Cold Alternating Mode

When your hair is about 90% dry, select “Hot/Cold Mark (Arrow)” with the air heat switching button.
Divide your hair into roughly four sections and direct Hot/Cold airflow two or three times to each place while finger-combing to keep the hair taut. The trick is to finish by directing Hot/Cold airflow onto your hair from your scalp down towards your hair tips.

STEP3 Neaten your hair with the Intensive Hair Tip Care Mode

Select “LOW” with the airflow switching button and “Hot/Cold Mark (Arrow)” with the air heat switching button. Hold the dryer closer to your hair (about 5 cm) and direct the airflow to both sides of the hair tips while finger-combing them to neaten them. This will make your hair sleek and glossy right down to the tips.
